Winter sun brim - Chenille braid

This is a stiffer, weightier hat, great for winter rains and snows.  It will look the same in 10 years.   Slightly more narrow in the back and I fold over and stitch the brim down to avoid hitting coat collars.  This is a cotton and acrylic chenille braid, 6 mm wide, that I then stitch into the shape as I build it.   The brim extends 2.25 inchand under 2 in the back.
