Myrna (folded paper turquoise)

Brim is 4 inches, making this a great sun hat.  It is a such a simple shape, but I add texture by making folds in the braid as I stitch.   The texture and color really make the hat interesting but easy to wear in this basic functional shape.   The turquoise does fade over the first few years, retains some blue, just more bleached out looking, like a well loved hat.   I have this one is 3 sizes !
