Marianne (ivory/gray tweed, gray band)

Slightly oval shaped brim, and tacked up in the back adds to the look of this hat.   And the way I stitched the crown is a very different than the flush overlapping braid, it is edge to edge and creates more of a structured top hat shape.   I am getting the hang of this new stitching the more I do.   I named it after Marianne in Sense and Sensibility because I love that you can take the ribbon and make it tie under the chin like the bonnets of Austen's time.   The ribbon is also removable for a less dressy look.  And the back pin is removable also.
