Tilt a World (black/white tweed)
I used to make this shape years ago, in straw, so I have revived it in chenille braid, a strand of cotton and acrylic, very densely woven that makes it a warm hat for most winter days. The rain and snow doesn't affect the hat at all, just need to place it somewhere to dry when get home as it doesn't necessarily repel moisture. I like to wear this style slightly big, so I can tuck an ear if would like, but also like to keep it snug enough to stay warm, the elastic band helps with that. The winter hats I always use an elastic band inside, it is nice and soft and adds to size flexiblity. The brim can be turned up and down. The Tilts have a different look, but are still simple. This one has a wool accent with button.
