This color is just fabulous, with blue eyes, or with denims, or with quite a range of complexions.   I call it blue, though it is more of dark periwinkle, or bluish-purple.  THe style is almost all season, though technically a straw, I would wear it more 3 season hat.  If in a warmer climate, 4 season.   The braid is from Switzerland, a narrow blend of fibers, one shiny, one dull, so has just a bit of sheen, not too much.
